$24/hour | Janitorial Lead

Premier Facility Management is seeking a cleaning professional with prior leadership, commercial cleaning experience, and demonstrated attention to detail, to carry out cleaning and leadership duties assigned nightly.

This position reports and works directly for a supervisor.

This position may include driving of company vehicles

Duties include but are not limited to: Ensure multiple buildings, grounds, and equipment are kept in a clean, orderly, and functional condition per contract and company specifications, while adhering to all rules and instructions as established. Traveling to multiple facilities daily, inspecting work, training of employees, checking inventory & placing orders with management, cleaning of client sites. Exceptional communication skills & timely reporting to management on a daily basis. Individuals in this position will adhere to all rules and instructions as established or given, whether verbally or written. Any other tasks as directed or business needs require.

Knowledge of Janitorial tasks, cleaning processes, chemical usage & mixing, hard-floor & carpet equipment (floor machines, etc.) preferred
Hourly, non-exempt.

• Clean driving record required for this position
• (no "at fault" accidents, tickets, etc. for past 3 years)
• Ability to be insured
• Ability to pass a background check

Schedule:

• Monday through Friday, some weekends.

Hours:

• 40 hours per week
• Limited overtime possible

Wage:

• $24 per hour
• Use of company vehicle (TBD)

Responsibilities:

• Clean, stock and supply designated facility areas (dusting, sweeping, vacuuming, mopping, cleaning ceiling vents, restroom cleaning, cleaning windows and mirrored surfaces, polish stainless steel & surfaces, & other tasks as required.)
• Travel to and from Client locations.
• Sanitize and disinfection of surfaces and furniture.
• Carry out heavy cleansing tasks and special projects as needed.
• Notify management of occurring deficiencies or needs for repairs
• Cooperation and compliance with all rules, regulations, and policies. Including all health & safety policies, procedures and regulations.
• Follow written and/or verbal instructions regarding the use of chemicals, supplies, and equipment.
• Other cleaning, custodial or other duties as directed or required.

Qualifications

• Proven work experience as a cleaner.
• Dependable transportation.
• Ability to handle heavy equipment and machinery.
• Knowledge of cleaning chemicals and supplies.
• Familiarity with Material Safety Data Sheets.
• Punctual & dependable attendance.
• Able to communicate with management in a timely manner, reporting issues, requesting supplies, etc.
• High School Diploma or GED preferred.
• Must be 21 years of age or older.
• Must be self-motivated and able to work with minimal supervision.
• Must be able to lift 50 lbs. or less on a frequent basis.
• Ability to understand and adhere to Company policies in all areas.
• Personal cell phone with internet access.
• Use of work related apps on personal phone.
