Job details for a Commissioning Associate Engineer:

  • Pay type: Salary (based on experience)
  • Schedule: Monday-Friday with flexible hours starting between 5:30am-9:30am (overtime opportunities)
  • Interview process: phone screening, on-site interview, and facility tour

Job duties and responsibilities for a Commissioning Associate Engineer:

  • Work under the guidance of senior engineers to support the commissioning activities of variable speed drive systems
  • Contribute to the development of comprehensive commissioning plans and procedures
  • Perform functional tests and inspections to ensure the compliance of systems with design specifications
  • Work closely with project teams to identify and troubleshoot issues that may arise during the commissioning process
  • Provide assistance in training clients on the installed systems, ensuring they have a clear understanding of system operation and maintenance

Experience and requirements for a Commissioning Associate Engineer:

  • 2-year degree in Electronics Technology or Electrical Engineering Technology or a related field
  • Basic understanding of electrical systems design and functionality
  • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills and ability to work independently or collaboratively in a team
  • Willingness to learn and adapt to new challenges
  • Experience in commissioning variable speed drives, PLC systems
  • Familiarity with manufacturing environments
  • Proficient in the use of technical tools and equipment
  • Able to travel 15%-25%
