As a Financial Analyst, you will be responsible for supporting the activities of the Financial Planning & Analysis team. We are a strong team and looking to grow even stronger by adding a financial analyst to handle and improve some of our “easier” functions. But don’t worry, you won’t be stuck doing the same thing forever because there is much to learn and room to grow. What you will do: Financial Data and Analysis You will be perfect for this job if you have strong technical skills, particularly in Excel, and have experience in, or would like to learn to work with, our three major software programs: Maintain, expand, and improve financial reporting in Tableau Understand and extract data from our ERP, Workday Work with Adaptive, our company-wide administrative cost budgeting tool Use your creativity to share your analysis with both financial and non-financial users. You should have a knack for creating reports that are “just right”: just the right amount of information, presented in a manner easy to understand by the intended audience Ad Hoc Reporting and Analysis There is a lot of opportunity here. We have more data in this place than there are stars in the universe and lots of curious minds that want to understand it to make better business decisions. We need someone resourceful, can learn from others, and can dive deep into the weeds but then pop back up to clearly communicate findings to the non-weed-eaters. And show excellence by anticipating the inevitable follow-up questions, rather than simply following requests by rote. If you can do all that you will be in good company! What you will bring: Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Mathematics, or a similar field of study, or four years’ work experience. (Required) One year of financial analysis, business analysis, accounting, or audit experience. (Required) Self-starter with a thirst for learning.
