Preisz Financial is Hiring an Operations Specialist Near Portland, OR

POSITION OVERVIEW

The primary purpose of this role is to provide support to the financial advisors of Preisz Financial by assisting them in compliant processing of business and resolution of not in good order items, for accounts held with clearing firms and with accounts held at our broker/dealer, LPL Financial.

RESPONSIBILITIES

Provide support to multiple financial advisors by assisting with the following:

  • Process new accounts and securities transactions.
  • Provide administrative tasks as needed; including client communications, calendar/scheduling, preparation of documents for client signature, processing and follow up on client forms and paperwork, binding client reports, etc.
  • Responsible for processing LPL check deposits via the branch deposit program
  • Be the liaison with our Broker/Dealer, LPL Financial, learn all aspects of ClientWorks account set up and processes.
  • Stay current on changes to operational process and procedures both internally and with our broker-dealer and other administrative relationships.
  • Organize and compile relevant client information in RedTail (our CRM), planning, imaging, and all other business systems.
  • Maintain client files and records.
  • Follow-up to ensure excellent client service.
  • Attending client meetings as requested by advisor.

· Strong office computer software skills (Microsoft 365: Word, Excel, Outlook, etc.) and the ability to learn new programs and databases quickly.

· Experience with RedTail Database is a definite plus, though not required. Willingness to learn, maintain, and run reports with the RedTail system.

· Ability to learn quickly and follow directions.

· Professional appearance and posture; professional business/office attire and conduct.

· Positive, cheerful attitude and tact.

· Effective communication/rapport building skills and internal customer service and work ethic.

· Demonstrate understanding of confidential items and/or information.

EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE:
· 3 years’ experience working in an advisor support role.

· Familiar with securities, financial markets and institutional account types a plus.

COMPENSATION RANGE: $30-38 per hour, depending on experience & qualifications.

We are located south of the downtown Portland area.
