Preferred Primary Care Physicians is Hiring a Revenue cycle specialist Near Canonsburg, PA

Preferred Primary Care Physicians (PPCP) is currently recruiting for an onsite full-time Revenue Cycle Specialist to work out of PPCP's Central Administrative office located in Canonsburg, PA.

The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 1 year of medical billing experience and be familiar with medical terminology.

Schedule is Monday-Friday day.

General Purpose of the Revenue Cycle Specialist Position : This position will prepare, review, and transmit claims using billing software, including electronic and paper claim processing.

The Biller will also follow up on unpaid claims within standard billing cycle timeframe. This position will also check each insurance payment for accuracy and compliance.

Revenue Cycle Specialist Essential Functions :

  • Ensure timely and accurate Revenue Cycle processes for areas of responsibility.
  • Use root cause analysis of processes resulting in failure to achieve departmental and individual goals
  • Identify problems, define alternatives and recommend practical and efficient solutions
  • Maintain departmental productivity levels and compliance with quality standards
  • Identify areas of utilization improvements and monitor expected outcomes
  • Complete special projects as assigned

Interact with the management team and provide suggestions for process improvement

Education / Qualifications :

High school diploma or equivalent and 5 years of experience in Business Administration, Finance or Accounting OR B.S. degree in related field;

Business Administration, Finance, or Accounting preferred.
