Preferred Personnel Solutions is seeking Maintenance Technicians to hire at an industrial packaging warehouse located in Lithonia! The ideal candidate should have a previous mechanical background including but not limited to painting, drywall, lighting, and weather maintenance.

The candidate should be dependable, have reliable transportation, and available to work full time.

Pay Rate : $22.71 / hour

Requirements for Maintenance Technicians :

After meeting all of PPS' standard qualifications, Candidate must meet below qualifications :

• Must have a good understanding of how commercial building are constructed and how electrical, HVAC, and plumbing systems are incorporated.
• Must have experience in how electrical systems are distributed and how they support the production ad office circuits.
• Must have a good mechanical background and the knowledge to use a wide range of hand and power tools.
• Must be highly organized and able to manage multiple priorities.
• Must be able to communicate effectively with internal and external customers.
• Must be able to grasp, pull, push, reach, twist, sit, walk, bend, squat, reach, and / or stand for long periods of time.
• Must be able to supply your own tools.
• Must be willing to submit to a drug screening and background check.

Responsibilities of Maintenance Technicians :

• Maintenance and repair of interior and exterior building / property.
• General maintenance which may include, but is not limited to painting, drywall, lighting, or weather maintenance.
• Pressure washing.
• Maintaining cleanliness of the building.
• Monthly inspections of equipment in building.
• Communicate and / or coordinate with outside vendors.
• Ensuring all work is performed in a safe manner and follows equipment and site procedures, including Lock Out- Tag Out.
• Performs other duties as assigned by management.

Shift Details : 1st Shift Available!

1st : Monday-Friday 6 : 00AM-2 : 30PM, with mandatory overtime as needed
