Preferred Personnel Solutions is seeking Maintenance Technicians to hire immediately at a distributing warehouse located in Lithonia! The ideal candidate should have previous electrical and industrial maintenance experience, be dependable, have reliable transportation, available to work full time.

Pay Rate: $31.95/hour

Requirements for Maintenance Technicians:
After meeting all of PPS' standard qualifications, Candidate must meet below qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Must have at least 15 years of experience working in manufacturing/industrial setting.
• Must have experience working as a supervisor/lead.
• Previous fabrication, MIG and TIG welding, and electrical experience is required.
• Must be familiar with PLC's.
• Ability to operator machines, hand tools, and electrical equipment.
• Possesses an operational knowledge of automated industrial machinery, and hydraulic and pneumatic systems.
• Demonstrates ability to read and interpret electrical and mechanical drawing and work orders.
• Possesses basic trouble shooting experience and proven skills in machine repair.
• Must be willing to submit to a drug screening and background check.

Responsibilities of Maintenance Technicians:

• Ensure reliability of machinery and equipment by completing preventive maintenance on machinery and systems.
• Performs tasks including, but not limited to, mechanical, electrical, PLC, pneumatic and hydraulic troubleshooting, and repair of equipment.
• Reads and interprets equipment manuals, diagrams, sketches, engineering specifications, and work orders to perform required maintenance and service.
• Uses hand tools and measuring instruments to determine changes in dimensional requirements of parts.
• Removes defective parts by dismantling devices, using hand and power tools.
• Performs other duties as assigned by management.
