Unit Manager

Duties:
- Supervise and manage a team of healthcare professionals in a nursing home setting
- Oversee the delivery of patient care and ensure adherence to quality standards
- Coordinate and schedule staff assignments to ensure adequate coverage
- Monitor and evaluate the performance of staff members
- Provide guidance and support to staff in the areas of patient care, IV insertion, medication administration, and aseptic technique
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to develop and implement care plans for patients
- Ensure compliance with infection control protocols and maintain a safe environment for patients and staff
- Utilize electronic medical record systems such as Epic to document patient information accurately

Experience:
- Active License in the State of New Jersey (LPN or RN)
- Strong knowledge of nursing practices, including IV insertion, medication administration, and aseptic technique
- Proven experience in supervising and leading a team of healthcare professionals
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
