Precision Solutions is Hiring a Business Development Specialist (Entry Level) Near Beaverton, OR

We are searching for an Entry Level Business Development Specialist in the Portland area. We are a regionally recognized sales and marketing agency that is constantly adapting and innovating to the current times. The Business Development Specialist will be a part of our essential sales support team to drive new customer acquisition and generate a sales pipeline through referrals and cold calling.

In this position, you'll have the opportunity to significantly impact our team and our customers. We provide a collaborative and team-centric environment that fosters opportunity and growth. This role includes extensive classroom training, role play sales scenarios, and regular performance reviews with the Sales Operations Manager.

Responsibilities as the Business Development Specialist:

  • Effectively manage the sales accounts we work with and provide excellent customer service and sales support
  • Gather and report feedback from the customer, including orders, compliments, or complaints if applicable
  • Manage a variety of accounts by being the point of contact for all of the sales leads assigned to you
  • Become an expert with product and service knowledge to answer questions and handle objections successfully
  • Help and support the sales team with exceeding quarterly revenue goals
  • Build rapport with customers, clients, and team members to cultivate trust
  • Extend support to sales trainees who are new to the role and assist in training when necessary
  • Collaborate with management, sales representatives, and the marketing team to stay updated on the latest products or services our clients are offering
  • Demonstrate an educational approach to building and developing the account and actively listen to the customers needs to provide effective solutions

Skills or Experience Needed to Exceed in the Role:

  • Associates or Bachelor's degree in a related field is preferred
  • Desire to provide the best customer experience and sales support possible
  • 2-3 years in a Customer Service, Sales or Client-facing role
  • Superior written and verbal communication skills
  • Motivated by leading others and being a solid example of what it means to be a hard worker
  • Comfortable with building relationships and create trust in your customer interactions
  • Thrive in a fast pace and dynamic environment
  • Ability to adapt to new situations and new training methods when presented
  • Outgoing, friendly, and enthusiastic personality and can get along with anyone
  • Excellent presentation skills and communication skills

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $52,000.00 - $65,000.00 per year
