Principle Responsibilities
Assist higher rated employees in the performance of their duties by working directly with a higher classified employee on a given task, or independently performing non-complex, routine or repetitive tasks incidental to the operations of the job classification, up to and including: organize and distribute tools and materials to work crews; accept equipment and materials deliveries; operate a fork lift (safety training available); daily clean-up of work areas. THIS POSITION IS CONTINGENT UPON A CLEAN DRIVING RECORD.
Standard Duties
Stake, file, trim, saw, buff, drill, grind, burr, thread and use hand or power tools required to facilitate assignment. Run errands: pick up parts, materials, blueprints, tools, etc. Load and unload material and equipment; move material, parts, benches, pack and unpack boxes and crates: clean, count and sort parts, as required. Sweep, clean, and maintain good housekeeping practices, as directed. Maintain logs and records, as required.
Requirements
High school graduate/GED. ALL APPLICANTS ARE SUBJECT TO BACKGROUND SCREENING PER THE JESSICA LUNSFORD ACT.
Capabilities
Physical Requirements
Lifting up to 70 pounds, stooping, bending, squatting. May be subject to working with hazardous waste.
