Summary
This Business Analyst role is to provide support in the development, implementation and sustainment of systems, and business processes in relation to Asset Integrity initiatives.
Responsibilities
  • Analysis, reconciliation, and updates of Master Data including equipment records, functional locations, task lists, BOMs, material masters, equipment documentation to ensure compliance with Enterprise Information Management Standards
  • Facilitate the validation, implementation, and use of business processes related to the Asset Integrity and integration to procurement
  • Coordination with other departments on integration points to Asset Integrity, including Operations, Maintenance, Finance, Fixed Assets, Supply Chain, and IT
  • Support of Operations and Maintenance Groups for equipment and maintenance compliance including:
    • Creation and maintenance of equipment records. Perform audits, compliance checks, update master data records, and capture all necessary documentation
    • Equipment Transfers:
      • Monitor non-tracked equipment transfers to ensure users are adhering to the process and transferring tracked and non-tracked equipment correctly
      • Assist users of ETR with training and process support
      • Report on ETR usage and follow up with ETRs that have been outstanding for longer durations
    • Maintenance Plans and Items
      • Create and maintain Maintenance Plans and Items in alignment with the EAM Master Data Standards. Perform audits and compliance checks for master data accuracy
      • Ensure maintenance plans are scheduling as required
      • Call maintenance plans early as required by Operations
    • Work Centers
      • Create and maintain Work Centers in alignment with the EAM Master Data Standards. Perform audits and compliance checks for master data accuracy
    • Task Lists
      • Create and maintain Task Lists in alignment with the EAM Master Data Standards. Perform audits and compliance checks for master data accuracy
    • Measuring Points
      • Create and maintain Measuring Points in alignment with the EAM Master Data Standards. Perform audits and compliance checks for master data accuracy
      • Monitor hourly measuring points that are entered through the Rounds Mobile Application. Follow up with end users to provide coaching and support on the rounds application
      • Reset Operating Days measuring point counters following the completion of Level IV Certifications
    • Equipment Documentation / Document Information Records
      • Ensure accurate management and safeguarding of equipment documentation to ensure all relevant parties can quickly retrieve required documentation including COCs, MRBs, manuals, parts lists, inspection reports, etc.
      • Ensure all documentation is managed in alignment with Documentation Info Record Master Data Standard and stored in SharePoint and linked to SAP equipment records
    • Provide ongoing support to end-users of the PM system to ensure the system is being utilized and address any issues as they arise and provide support and communication
    • Provide support in all the following platforms for end users:
      • SAP GUI, Fiori, Unvired Rounds, Notification and Work Order Applications, and ETR
    • Monitor and Manage all M0 notifications
      • Action all notifications, communicate with the requestor and close out the notification documenting the details of actions taken
    • Use list edit reports and tools like excel and Winshuttle to make updates to data quickly, accurately and effectively
    • Coordinate ongoing PM system optimization to ensure that the system content is up to date and accurate for users, reporting and functionality
      • Run reports on notifications & work orders to analyze compliance to the Maintenance processes to ensure that end-users are entering information correctly
      • Ensure that Notifications and Work Orders are being closed out in a timely manner with the required information. Report on overdue notifications and work orders follow up with responsible users to get items closed out
  • Complete any other tasks or activities as assigned
  • Support work with business users to:
    • Review existing processes and procedures and identify area's requiring process improvement
    • Assist with the development, validation, and application of business processes and system requirements
    • Prepare and develop business documentation including business processes and functional requirements
    • Ensure business requirements satisfy the business need
    • Assist with system and user acceptance testing
    • Develop training material and deliver training
    • Ensure business requirements are being used effectively
    • Review and resolve issues as they arise
  • Assist with continuous improvement initiatives for asset integrity and preventive maintenance programs to ensure that the internal processes within the organization meet the needs of the business
Knowledge & Skills
Master Data Management experience
Scheduling, Planning and Master Data management within SAP Plant Maintenance
Excellent MS Office Suite Software knowledge - especially Microsoft Excel for the following functionality:
V look-ups
Conditional (IF) function, conditional formatting, drop downs, groupings, etc.
Pivot Tables/ Pivot charts
Analysis for Office
SharePoint Document Management
Excellent research and data analysis skills
Education
4-year undergraduate degree
Experience
2 years of experience with Preventive Maintenance System Administration
Oil and Gas Experience
