Job Description:
Employees will be required to work 10-12 hours per day helping in all aspects of foundation drilling and installing large diameter foundations. This job requires traveling 100% of the year. Work schedule is 3 weeks on/1 week off with some flexibility. We work on projects all up and down the east coast and some of the midwest. Hotels, meals and travel expenses are paid for by the Company. Transportation methods are provided by Precision Drilling leaving from the Stockton, NJ location. Out-of-state employees may travel directly from home to the job site depending on the location of each project.
Job Roles and Responsibilities:
Mobilization in setting up drill sites: driving drill rigs, cranes and tractor trailers to project sites when needed
Fueling, greasing, and maintaining equipment
Minor mechanic skills needed. (Changing oil, fuel filter, and changing hydraulic hoses)
Setting up drill sites, checking layout, checking drill for plumb, and measuring offsets to confirm hole locations
Rigging and setting casings and rebar cages plumb and on surveyed hole location
Mixing and using polymer drilling slurry/operating in-house tanker vac trucks
Assembling and installing concrete form work under drillers supervision
Assisting concrete pours and setting anchor bolts to spec
Prepare daily drilling log reports
Perform and document daily pre-shift inspections
Must be able to crawl, squat, carry materials for extensive period (80-100 pounds)
Be willing to work in adverse weather conditions
Experience, Education and Relevant Skills Prerequisites:
Clean driving record
DOT Medical Card
Class A CDL with tanker endorsement preferred, but not required
3 years Class A CDL driving experience preferred, but not required
Clean drug screening
Clean background check
OSHA 10 or 30 preferred
OSHA 40 Hazmat with 8-hour refresher preferred
Forklift and excavation equipment training preferred
Quick learner with a construction background preferred
Basic math skills
Welding and torch cutting skills preferred
Mechanical Skills preferred
