What you will be doing: Praxis has an immediate job opening for a Contracts Manager. The candidate will provide cradle-to-grave contract administration support for various CP, FFP, T&M Government contracts. Heavy emphasis on RFP analysis, cost proposal preparation, and development of terms and conditions. Additional responsibilities include coordination of appropriate internal reviews, contract negotiation, contract/task order administration, and review and negotiation of non-disclosure and teaming agreements. Candidate will be responsible for overall contract compliance of assigned tasks in accordance with contract requirements, company policy and procedures, and applicable laws. Candidate must possess a strong business background and be able to work independently as well as part of a team. Candidate must be able to prioritize work activities in a fast-paced environment and effectively communicate at all management levels. What you will need: A minimum of 8 years of experience in the contracts profession Strong interpersonal and relationship-building skills Strong skills in proposal preparation including RFP analysis, bid strategy, the development of terms and conditions, and appropriate review/approval processes. Serves as the Cost Volume lead on large proposals. Prepares Task Order cost proposals. Pricing and Procurement experience preferred. Candidate must have the flexibility to provide proposal support while maintaining daily contractual support. Must have experience with all contract types and how each impact contracts and program funding, a working knowledge of FAR/DFAR and company policies. Manages a portfolio of programs. Experience with negotiation of Teaming and Non-Disclosure Agreements; and all facets of contract compliance. Requires demonstrated ability to operate independently as well as part of a team. Must be able to handle multiple tasks/projects and meet deadlines. Excellent written and verbal communication is critical. Setup and maintenance of Deltek project setup including maintaining contract value and funding. Coordinates funding with management and client contracting departments. Works in collaboration with accounting department to ensure integration of contracting information into Deltek so that billing can occur as expected. Prepare/review contract closeout documentation. Assists/responds to Government audit requests. Other duties as assigned. Strong knowledge of Microsoft tools (Word, Excel, Powerpoint, etc.), COGNOS and Costpoint. Education: BS/BA preferred in Business Administration or a related discipline (additional experience may be considered in lieu of degree).
