Responsibilities:
- Provide exceptional customer service, assisting customers with their inquiries and needs
- Operate the point-of-sale (POS) system and cash register accurately and efficiently
- Prepare and handle food items according to established guidelines
- Maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards throughout the store
- Assist with stocking shelves and organizing inventory
- Collaborate with team members to ensure a positive and efficient work environment
Skills:
- Previous experience in food service or grocery store settings is preferred
- Proficiency in operating POS systems, such as Square, is a plus
- Strong time management skills to prioritize tasks effectively
- Ability to handle cash transactions accurately
- Knowledge of proper food handling and preparation techniques
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
