Prairie Lakes Healthcare System is a leader in regional healthcare for northeastern South Dakota and western Minnesota. Caring for a ten-county service area of 90,000 people, the health professionals of Prairie Lakes are dedicated to excellence. That commitment has made Prairie Lakes one of the most innovative rural healthcare systems in the nation. Prairie Lakes has been a dynamic model for rural health, achieving consistently high scores for value and quality. We've served as a "show site" for patient care technology and diagnostic equipment, and we're unchallenged in our uncompromising care... for patients and their families. Healthcare is constantly changing, and we believe not only in keeping up with those changes, but keeping ahead of them. That's one of the reasons we offer a wide variety of healthcare services with advanced equipment. It's why we seek out the most skilled physicians and compassionate staff. It's because our commitment to quality healthcare is our first priority. It's what our patients deserve.
