Public Engagement Specialists work serving communities throughout the city of Seattle. They recieve great training and outreach experience.

Duties Include:

• Building repor with business owners and local unhoused individuals
• Report back to case workers with specific information
• Utilize the Seattle Find it Fix it app to report issues
• Communicate with Praetorian public safety officers about on going operations
• Maintain clear and concise logs of contacts with individuals
• Utilize Naloxone and receive regular training.
• Hand out supplies to the unhoused and participate in outreach.

Requirements:

• Public service experience in volunteering or outreach
• No felony convictions, harassment or domestic violence no-contact orders, or DUI
• Good physical condition with no chronic medical conditions that would impair the safe and effective fulfillment of duties
• Must have a valid driver's license
• Preferred education/ trainings towards community engagement
• Honorable Discharge from the armed services, if applicable

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $25.00 - $35.00 per hour

Schedule:

• 10 hour shift
• 12 hour shift
• 8 hour shift
• Weekends as needed

Education:

• High school or equivalent (Preferred)

Language:

• Second language (Preferred)

Ability to Relocate:

• Seattle, WA: Relocate before starting work (Required)
