Dispatcher Responsibilities
- Organizing service technicians / dispatching service calls taking into consideration the technician’s ability, job specifications and job location.
- Tracking and managing jobs including incomplete work and scheduling conflicts with customers.
- Interacting with customers to schedule jobs
- Coordinating and tracking technician’s paperwork / closing completed service orders.
- Responding to customer service requests
Dispatcher Qualifications
- 3 years dispatch experience (Plumbing, Electrical, HVAC experience a plus)
- Fluent in Microsoft Office Suite
- Strong Communication skills with the ability to work with a diverse team
- Experience with dispatching software a plus
- Excellent problem-solving skills with the ability to adapt to changing situations
- Experience working in a fast paced and time sensitive environment - “Sense of Urgency” mindset
