Seeking a dedicated and reliable Customer Service Supervisor to join our golf warehouse team. S/he will play a crucial role in various aspects of our operations, including but not limited to in-shop technical service on general motor equipment, new golf-mat builds, inventory management, refurbishment, receiving and packaging deliveries.
Responsibilities:
· Supervise a small team of warehouse and technical repair staff.
· Determine staffing levels and assign workload.
· Take ownership of warehouse and customer service department workloads.
· Oversee repairs of components back from the field, ensuring repairs made and equipment returned to customers in a timely manner.
· Achieve high levels of customer satisfaction through excellence in receiving, identifying, dispatching, and assuring quality of goods.
· Coordinate receipt, storage, and shipment of goods, ensuring accurate inventory management.
· Manage inventory control, including cycle counting, reporting, and resolving discrepancies.
· Optimize warehouse layout and operations to improve productivity and reduce costs.
· Implement and enforce safety protocols and regulations.
· Communicate job expectations and coach employees.
· Training and performance evaluation.
· Clear reporting of warehouse and service performance to management.
Requirements:
- 2 years of experience in a warehouse environment, with at least 1 year in a supervisory role
- High school diploma or equivalent required; degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Inventory management or related field preferred
- Strong leadership and management skills, with ability to motivate and direct a team
- Mechanically minded, hands-on practical person
- Excellent communication, problem-solving, and analytical skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, mainly Excel
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, with flexibility to adapt to changing priorities and deadlines
- Strong attention to detail, with focus on accuracy and quality
- Certification in OSHA, Forklift, or other relevant industry certifications a plus
