Reporting to the VP of Sales/Ops for a transportation and logistics company.
The Sales Representative is responsible for coordinating with the Director of Sales and Business Development on industry needs. Researches and identifies potential customers. Effectively communicates business to current and potential customers throughout Mexico, the US Midwest Region, and Canada. Demonstrates the company’s product in a positive and mutually beneficial way to customers. Assists with customer bids and marketing materials. Evaluates and processes RFPs & RFQs. Onboards new customers, ensuring a smooth transition. Grows load counts with current customers. Brings solutions to the table for closing new business, knowing when to escalate. Coordinates complete sales cycle process including prospect list initiation, lead generation, prospect qualification, analysis, and presentation(s), start-up, and customer service follow-up after the sale.
Travel 25%.
