ABOUT THE POSITION
We are looking for an HR Administrator to support our Human Resources department. You will act as the first point of contact for HR-related queries from employees and external partners.
Your main administrative duties include maintaining personnel records, managing HR documents (e.g. employment records and onboarding guides) and updating internal databases. Our ideal candidate has experience with HR procedures and can juggle various administrative tasks in a timely manner.
KEY DELIVERABLES
· Help organize and manage orientation, onboarding, and training programs.
· Tracks new hire onboarding process to ensure efficient and accurate onboarding.
· Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws, as well as company policies and procedures.
· Organizing and maintaining personnel records, entering new hire data, and updating any previous employees’ data.
· Answer employees’ questions and provide requested information.
· Schedules meetings and appointments with vendors.
· Coordinates Project Helix related events including Onsite meetings and celebrations.
· Creates reports and presentations, sets up for meetings and events, and orders supplies.
· Meets deadlines by proficiently utilizing project management software.
KEY ACTIVITIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
· Assist with all internal and external HR related inquiries or requests.
· Performs projects as assigned by Project Helix Human Resources Business Partner.
· Owns Project Helix Onsite meetings and other events.
· Maintain employee records.
· Assist with the recruitment process by assisting with ATS management, identifying candidates, performing reference checks, and issuing employment contracts.
· Assist with performance management procedures.
· Schedule meetings, interviews, HR events and maintain agendas.
· Coordinate training sessions and seminars.
· Perform orientations and update records of new staff.
· Produce and submit reports on general HR activity.
· Identify potential areas of improvement and propose changes to processes.
· Support other assigned functions.
· Keep up to date with the latest HR trends and best practices.
TO BE SUCCESSFUL IN THIS ROLE, YOUR EXPERIENCE & COMPETENCIES ARE:
· Bachelor's degree in human resources or related field preferred.
· 2-3 years of experience in Human Resources or related field.
· Intermediate knowledge of Human Resources and business operations.
