We are currently recruiting for an Accounting / HR Coordinator.
Accounting / HR Coordinator responsibilities include: assisting the Controller with managing the billing, collections, cash management, and Accounts Payable processes for the company. As the HR coordinator, this position is responsible for monitoring employee timecards, scheduling, new hire processing, and payroll reporting.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS : (include the following. Other duties may be assigned.)
Manage Accounts Payable entry and reconciliation.
Account billing and collections for hotel groups.
Cash management – bank deposits, cash auditing
Monitor employee time entry
Assist with departmental employee scheduling
Onboard new hires in Paycor system
Payroll reporting
Assist with special projects as requested by management.
Participate in department process improvements.
Other duties as assigned.
SPECIFIC JOB KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES :
A/P processing experience in a fast-paced and high volume environment
Data entry accuracy required
Must know 10-key by touch
Must have ability to multi-task
Good verbal/written communication skills
Experience with Excel required
Experience with Word, M3, OnQ, and Paycor preferred, but not required
PHYSICAL DEMANDS:
Must be able to reach overhead and below the knees, including bending, twisting, pulling, and stooping.
May be required to regularly lift and/or move objects weighing less than or equal to 25 pounds and infrequently lift and/or move up to 50 pounds.
Must be capable of effectively using close vision, distance vision, and color vision.
Able to operate in mentally and physically stressful situations
Work environment may be frequently stressful.
Must be able to sit for extended periods of time, use arms, vision, hands and legs repetitively; handle, or feel objects, tools, or controls; reach with hands and arms; and stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl. The employee frequently is required to walk, climb or balance, talk and hear.
QUALIFICATION STANDARDS :
High school education required. College degree preferred to support on-the-job effectiveness.
Accounting background is required.
Hotel experience preferred
Strong organizational skills and attention to detail are expected.
