We are currently recruiting an accomplished applications software developer. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of working within science and engineering.

Requirements

• Provides high-level expertise in developing complex SharePoint 2016 applications, SharePoint Online applications, as well as other platforms employed by the National Science Foundation (NSF.gov). 
• Defines functional requirements based on business needs, produces and maintains detailed technical documentation, and provides user support on technical issues
• Contributes to the development of project plans and status reports. 
• Provide consultation on complex projects and is considered to be the top-level contributor/specialist. 

Required Experience

• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, or other relevant discipline. 
• Minimum 6 years of SharePoint development experience (legacy - on prem and online versions).
• Experience in Power Platform (Power Apps, Power Automate, Power BI) development, Sybase database, AWS, Microsoft Visual Studio and JIRA.
• Minimum of 3 years working in an agile software development environment. 
• Demonstrated experience transitioning an agency or customer from SharePoint to Microsoft 365 or another software platform. 
• Experience in FISMA act of 2014 [Title III, PL 113-283], Enterprise Risk Management and Internal Control, NIST SP 800.X and NSF IT security and privacy policies, procedures and guidance.
• Excellent communications (both written and spoken) including customer support.
• Active public trust (Tier 1 or Tier 2 investigation level) and experience working within the federal government sector as a contractor or employee.
