Remote Opportunity: Environmental Project Manager
Looking to hire an Environmental Project Manager for a fully remote position within the USA. To be considered, candidates must meet all outlined qualifications detailed below.
Role Overview
We are in search of an experienced Environmental Project Manager to join our dynamic environmental team. The role focuses on delivering environmental services and strategies for midstream pipeline projects, including natural gas, hydrogen, and crude oil.
Key Responsibilities
  • Handling multiple projects from routing/siting to construction compliance
  • Directing resource teams on environmental studies and permit applications, such as FERC Section 7(C) and Third-party EIS documents
  • Liaising with federal, state, and local authorities
  • Collaborating with diverse teams including engineers, attorneys, and GIS analysts
  • Engaging with the public and stakeholders during hearings and meetings
  • Supervising project scope, budget, schedule, and forecasting
  • Participating in business development and industry conferences
  • Conducting field reviews and compliance inspections
Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Environmental Planning, Geography, Environmental Science, or a related field
  • Over 10 years of experience in environmental licensing and permitting of pipelines
  • Expertise in FERC regulations and federal environmental regulations
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
  • Self-motivated with exceptional organizational skills and attention to detail

  • Proficiency in MS Project, Teams for video meetings, and MS Dynamics for reporting and tracking
  • Participation in weekly team meetings, monthly department meetings, and quarterly division meetings
