G-Net Construction is looking to hire a BUILDING CONSTRUCTION PROJECT MANAGER/ESTIMATOR! We are a full-service general construction company offering a full-time opportunity to grow with us!

Project Management Tasks:
Assisting in the review and evaluation of vendor proposals.
Coordinate subcontractor payments with office bookkeeper.
Research project materials for purchasing.
Coordinate the permit applications & the construction sign-offs w/ the office personnel.
Set up contract agreements with the Owner or Subcontractors.
Updating project schedules.
Perform field surveys of projects during construction.
Assisting in on-site project meetings.
Setting up & making various phone calls.
Assisting with office phone calls, filing, faxing, scanning, copying, etc.
Scheduling meetings & coordinating attendees.
Client and designer interfacing.
New vendor, supplier, and subcontractor acquisition.
Help with "processing" proposals and change orders.
Help with “processing” post-meeting notes (field and office meetings).
Help with visiting job sites daily to track progress.
Help with updating submittals logs and following up with respective subcontractors/vendors/architects.
Help with “processing” approved vendor proposals.
Estimating Tasks:
Prepare and/or coordinate the preparation of full estimates from small bathroom renovations to large 5-story new construction.
Assemble estimate take-off from plans using Planswift.
Review and evaluate Requests for Estimates.
Review sub-contractor estimates and revisions for completeness and accuracy.
Review construction documents and understand the scope of work to bid.
Attend site Pre-Bid meetings.
Perform field surveys (measuring, pictures, etc.) of projects to bid.
Become a liaison between subcontractors & the architect during the bid.
Perform quantity & cost analysis for out-sourced labor, material & subcontractor pricing.
Maintaining own cost book pricing for materials and labor rates.
Review project leads from The Blue Book.
Qualifications:
Must have a VALID NYS Driver’s License AND have OWN means of transportation.
Must possess excellent communication skills.
Must be detail-oriented.
Must have experience in construction, construction management, or construction estimating.
Must have experience with using MS Excel, MS Word, and Construction Estimating Software.
Experience working in an Architecture Firm is a Plus.
Basic PLUMBING, ELECTRICAL, HVAC, CARPENTRY experience and/or skills are a plus.
Having an NYC DOB Expediter license is a plus.
Own contact list of subcontractors is a plus.
MUST be able to work legally on the books.
