Position: Mechanical Design Engineer

Location: Wooddale, IL || Carson, CA || Olathe, KS ||

Responsibilities:

1. Design and develop mechanical components and systems using AutoCAD software.
2. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand project requirements and develop effective design solutions.
3. Conduct detailed design reviews to ensure compliance with engineering standards and specifications.
4. Utilize knowledge of machine packaging principles to optimize packaging designs for various applications.
5. Provide technical support and guidance during the manufacturing and assembly of mechanical components.
6. Perform analysis and testing of mechanical designs to validate performance and reliability.
7. Document design specifications, drawings, and test results for future reference.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering or related field.
• Proven experience in mechanical design using AutoCAD software.
• Strong knowledge of machine packaging principles and techniques.
• Proficiency in 3D modelling and drafting.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively in a team environment.
• Effective communication skills and the ability to interact with stakeholders at all levels.
