As a Paralegal with us, you will play a crucial role in supporting our attorneys and clients, contributing to the success of our legal practice.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct legal research and analysis on a wide range of topics.
- Draft legal documents, including pleadings, motions, and correspondence.
- Assist attorneys in preparing for hearings, trials, and other legal proceedings.
- Manage and organize case files and documents.
- Communicate effectively with clients, opposing counsel, and court personnel.
- Coordinate and schedule meetings, depositions, and other appointments.
- Provide administrative support as needed.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree or paralegal certificate from an accredited program.
- Prior experience working as a paralegal in a law firm or legal department.
- Proficiency in legal research tools and software.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks effectively.
- Knowledge of Oregon state and federal court procedures is preferred.
- Familiarity with litigation support software is a plus.
