Starting salary $13.00 with a review after 90 days, all online mandatory training is paid by Port Security Services upon completion

CURRENT OPENING: Full time and Part Time shifts available.

Jacinto Port: Overnight Shift - Friday (10p-6a), Saturday, Sunday (6p - 6a)

Galena Park: Overnight Shift - Saturday, Sunday (6p-6a)

Galena Park: Mid Shift - Monday-Friday (2p-10p)

• Must be available to work weekends.

• Overtime available on a as needed basis

Job Duties:

• Ensure personnel safety of staff, visitors and property
• Respond and investigate appropriately to situations reported
• Check identification, vehicle decals, and badges of persons entering the facility
• Maintain logs and records of occurrences via daily activity reports, crew lists, gate lists, etc.
• Secures premises and personnel by patrolling property; inspecting buildings, equipment, and access points; permitting entry
• We have openings at several sites and for varying overnight shifts. Preference will be given to applicants with the most flexibility.

Requirements - Qualified Candidates MUST meet the following requirements:

• Possess a valid/ unexpired Security Officer License
• Possess a valid TWIC card (Transportation Worker's Identification Card, obtained via tsa.gov)
• Minimum of 1 year of prior security experience
• Have a valid/ non-suspended/ unexpired Driver’s License
• Minimum High School Diploma or GED, or equivalent experience - Higher Education is a plus
• Have reliable transportation
• Be able to pass a Drug Test and Background Check
• Have basic computer knowledge
