Position overview

The Sr. Analyst, Credit Risk Management will be responsible for gathering, maintaining, and analyzing information needed to identify, assess, and monitor risks inherent in the Porsche Financial Services (PFS) portfolio. The position supports the Department Head of Finance, Data Intelligence & Analytics and Manager, Risk Management in the monitoring and maintenance of the IFRS9 Credit Loss and Residual Value Loss Impairment models ensuring PFS maintains a reserve balance sufficient to cover future potential losses. The Sr. Analyst, Risk Management will support to develop the PFS origination strategy and assist oversight in oversight of the PFS credit-decisioning scorecard.

The Sr. Analyst, Risk Management will also be involved in the preparation of presentations for top management (CEO, CFO, Shareholders' Committee Board of Directors etc.) as well as assisting the Manager, Risk Management and Department Head with the implementation of both local and group projects.

Roles & responsibilities

• Responsible for the preparation and further development of regular risk management reporting packages for senior management.
• Responsible for providing senior management with insights into the development of the risks inherent in the PFS portfolio and make recommendations on risk mitigation strategies.

• Partner with Credit Services and Data Intelligence & Analytics teams in the development, implementation and maintenance of the PFS origination strategy including future reporting and Origination Strategy Meeting preparations.

• Partner with Data Intelligence & Analytics team in monitoring of the credit-decisioning scorecard(s) and perform scorecard validation (incl. back testing) on a regular basis to ensure scoring model adequacy.
• Preparation of the monthly Reserve Reporting for Residual Value and Credit Risk Reserves as well as tracking and analysis for reserve movements.
• Responsible for maintenance and enhancement of the PFS residual value and credit loss forecast models to ensure sufficient reserves are maintained to cover potential losses.
• Work with internal and external auditors to prepare requested quarterly and year-end audit materials.
• Work closely with the Capital Markets and Funding department as a member of the Back Office for derivatives, swaps, and FX transactions.
• Support the Capital Markets and Funding department with the implementation of the Refinancing Strategy
• Assist in the preparation PFS Shareholders Committee, Board Meetings, Closing Meetings, and other Executive meeting presentations.
• Assist with other projects as assigned by Manager, Risk Management and Head of Department.

Required qualifications:

Education:

• BS degree, preferred in Accounting, Finance, Economics, Business, Analytics, Statistics,

Experience:

• 6 years experience in accounting, finance, economics, or statistical modeling.
• Experience within a Captive Finance Company finance area a plus.
• Must possess advanced computer skills and a strong understanding of MS Excel including Pivot Tables and Query, MS Access and MS PowerPoint. Knowledge of MS SQL Server, including SQL Language, VBA, and R/ Python a plus.
