Job Overview:
We are seeking a skilled Barista to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for delivering exceptional customer service and creating quality coffee beverages in a fast-paced environment.
Duties:
- Prepare and serve a variety of coffee drinks following company recipes and standards
- Operate espresso machines, grinders, and other equipment proficiently
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the coffee bar area
- Take customer orders accurately and efficiently
- Handle cash and card transactions using POS systems
- Uphold food safety standards and ensure proper food handling procedures
- Provide excellent customer service by engaging with patrons in a friendly manner
Experience:
- Previous experience in a barista or similar role preferred
- Knowledge of sales techniques and experience with cash handling
- Familiarity with Toast POS or similar point-of-sale systems is a plus
- Basic math skills for measuring ingredients and processing transactions
- Understanding of retail math concepts for inventory management
