- Assistant Manager is responsible for enthusiastically leading and motivating the restaurant team to achieve the highest levels of guest service.
- An Assistant Manager ensures that each restaurant visit by a guest results in friendly and personalized service with great food that is delivered in a clean and inviting environment.
- Additionally, in the absence of the General Manager, will manage all aspects of the daily operations of restaurant to maximize sales, profits, and a positive guest experience.
- Responsibilities include but not limited to training, coaching and developing the team to create an environment where team members are recognized and rewarded for achieving organizational and personal goals.
- Trains new shift supervisors to develop and supervise the team.
- Recruiting, hiring and retention of team members.
- Ensures appropriate staffing of restaurant team to maximize customer service and sales efforts within production percentages and goals.
- Maximize sales and profits within the restaurant.
- Ensure cash controls and enforcement of company policies.
- Assist in ensuring staff completes online position training requirements.
- Ensures completion of ordering, accounting, maintenance of all food and paper inventory.
- Ensures that all safety and security procedures are followed. Ability to lift 50 lbs.
