Overview:

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Multifamily Lead Superintendent to oversee the successful execution of our clients multifamily construction projects in South Florida. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership qualities, excellent organizational skills, and a comprehensive understanding of construction processes specific to multifamily developments. This role requires effective communication with project teams, subcontractors, and stakeholders to ensure projects are completed safely, on time, and within budget.

Responsibilities:

Project Management:

• Lead all aspects of on-site construction activities for multifamily residential projects, ensuring adherence to project schedules, budgets, and quality standards.
• Coordinate with project managers, subcontractors, and suppliers to facilitate efficient workflow and timely delivery of materials and equipment.
• Monitor progress, identify potential issues or delays, and implement proactive solutions to keep projects on track.

Team Leadership:

• Supervise and provide direction to on-site construction teams, including subcontractors and laborers, to ensure work is performed safely, accurately, and efficiently.
• Foster a positive and collaborative work environment, promoting teamwork, accountability, and adherence to company policies and procedures.
• Conduct regular meetings and training sessions to communicate project goals, expectations, and safety protocols.

Quality Assurance:

• Implement and enforce quality control measures to maintain high standards of workmanship and ensure compliance with project specifications, building codes, and regulatory requirements.
• Conduct inspections and walkthroughs to identify deficiencies, resolve issues promptly, and ensure that finished units meet or exceed client expectations.

Safety Compliance:

• Promote a culture of safety on the construction site, emphasizing the importance of adherence to OSHA regulations and company safety policies.
• Conduct regular safety inspections, identify potential hazards, and take corrective action to mitigate risks and prevent accidents or injuries.
• Provide safety training and guidance to on-site personnel, emphasizing the importance of proper equipment usage, personal protective gear, and safe work practices.

Client and Stakeholder Relations:

• Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, architects, engineers, and other stakeholders, maintaining open lines of communication and addressing inquiries or concerns promptly and professionally.
• Collaborate with project management and development teams to ensure alignment of project objectives, budget constraints, and client expectations.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or related field preferred.
• Proven experience as a Lead Superintendent or similar role overseeing multifamily residential construction projects from start to finish.
• Thorough understanding of construction methods, techniques, and materials relevant to multifamily developments.
• Strong leadership abilities with a track record of effectively managing on-site teams and subcontractors.
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to interact professionally with clients, stakeholders, and project teams.
• Proficiency in construction management software and Microsoft Office Suite.
• OSHA 30-hour Construction Safety Certification or equivalent preferred.
• Demonstrated commitment to safety, quality, and customer satisfaction.
• Ability to prioritize tasks, problem-solve, and adapt to changing project requirements in a fast-paced environment.
