Expectations | |||
The person is expected to be reliable and motivated with a sense of urgency for the goals of the department. Coordinate with Warehouse Supervisor and the Customer Service team with ensuring all Pick List are properly packaged, staged, inspected, loaded and dispatched on time. Exhibit Continuous improvement in processes to reduce cost in Packaging and Freight. Ensure all receiving documents are correctly received and entered in the system on weekends. | |||

Understand and follow all policies, rules and guidelines relating to ESSH | |||
Always wear appropriate PPE as outlined in ESSH policies | |||
Report every incident or injury to your immediate supervisor | |||
Participate in incident investigations | |||
Identify any risks to individuals, the environment or the site | |||
Questions situations, processes or procedures that appear unsafe or put the site at risk | |||
Recognizes unsafe work conditions created by other workers | |||

Coordinate the activities of warehouse personnel | |||
Implement any special instruction left by the Warehouse Supervisor | |||
Provide daily shift reports to the Warehouse Supervisor | |||
Facilitate cross training across all Logistics functions | |||
Regular interaction with Warehouse Supervisor on any issues | |||
Stage and Load trucks as needed | |||
Complete Inventories as required | |||
Relieve and coordinate breaks for Warehouse personnel | |||

Have the knowledge and ability to perform all job functions in warehouse | |||
Working knowledge of Outlook email, Microsoft office products | |||
Ability to become forklift certified | |||
Ability to lift 50 or more pounds | |||
5 plus year of warehouse industry experience preferred | |||
