Poke by Love Art: Assistant Manager

Location: 103 Beverly Street Boston MA

We are a sushi bowl and poke quick restaurant looking for a full time Assistant Manager who is self-driven, motivational, and has a strong operational background.

Pay

Hourly: Starting at $19/hour - $23/hour including tips (about $2/hour on top)

Depending on experience and qualifications

Responsibilities

• Train, manage, and develop team members and team leaders
• Hold team accountable for their performance; provide coaching and counseling as needed
• Ensure staff provides fast, friendly, and hospitable service
• Staff and schedule appropriately to control labor costs
• Ensure appropriate inventory and ordering are done accordingly
• Maintains product quality and standards
• Ensure proper cash handling and record keeping
• Customer service and maintaining customer satisfaction
• Make sure all processes, store cleanliness, food safety and HACCP are met regularly and up to the standard of the company

Qualifications

• Food service and management background
• Strong communication skills to connect effectively with customers and staff
• Possess a positive attitude and principals which support our work culture
• Able to be receive feedback from staff and managers
• Strong proactiveness, self-regulation, and self-efficiency
• Ability to manage a fast-paced, high-volume, clean, customer-focused restaurant
• Strong time-management skills; ability to multi-task, prioritize, organize, and adapt to surroundings
• Have good decision making skills
• Full time, open availability
