Position Location: Hybrid (3 days in office) - Phoenix, AZ

Job Summary:

The SRC Site Reliability Center plays a crucial role in supporting all infrastructure within the bank, ensuring 24/7 operations of enterprise support, technology, and day-to-day operations. This position is instrumental in maintaining the bank's functionality through process pillars, observability, and collaboration with product owners to establish policies and procedures while holding vendors and SRE tools team accountable.

Responsibilities:

- Monitor infrastructure, servers, middleware, databases, and batch jobs.

- Respond promptly to service requests from various business partners and support teams.

- Troubleshoot environment, data control, and operational issues.

- Create and maintain documentation for knowledge accessibility.

- Automate processes using scripts and scheduling tools.

- Collaborate with application support teams and technical partners.

- Provide ad hoc reports and escalate critical issues timely.

- Lead problem resolution efforts including root cause analysis.

- Participate in Incident and Problem Management processes.

- Ensure production changes adhere to Change Management policies.

- Support Resiliency, Disaster Recovery, and High Availability events.

Skills:

Must-have technical skills/experience:

- SRE - Network Engineering & Architecture

- Technical Project Management

- Deep Understanding of Networking Protocols, security, switching & routing

- Proficiency in automation or application development using any programming language

- Knowledge of client-server technology, networking basics, database technology

Flex Skills:

- Incident/Problem management experience

- Understanding of UNIX and Windows operating systems

- Familiarity with web hosting technologies like Apache/Tomcat

- Knowledge of Big Data & cloud concepts

- Understanding of database technologies like Oracle and SQL

Soft skills:

Excellent communication skills

Proactive with a bias for action

Strong negotiation and presentation skills

Experience working with diverse work-groups

Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in a technical field or relevant work experience; certifications such as CCNP | CCIE | JNCIS | JNCIE are nice to have
