Position Location: Hybrid (3 days in office) - Phoenix, AZ (must be willing to work EST for a few months, then it may change to MST)

Job Summary:

Join our team at SRC Special Projects, where you will play a crucial role in supporting all infrastructure within the bank. As part of the site reliability center, you will be responsible for ensuring 24/7 operations of enterprise support, technology, and day-to-day operations to keep the bank running smoothly. Your work will involve monitoring various aspects of the infrastructure, troubleshooting issues, automating processes, and collaborating with internal and external teams to maintain high standards of operation.

Responsibilities:

- Monitor infrastructure, servers, middleware, databases, and batch jobs.

- Respond promptly to service requests from business partners and support teams.

- Troubleshoot environment, data control, and operational issues.

- Create and maintain documentation for knowledge accessibility.

- Automate processes using scripts and scheduling tools.

- Collaborate with application support teams and technical partners.

- Provide ad hoc reports and escalate critical issues timely.

- Lead problem resolution efforts and conduct root cause analysis.

- Participate in Incident and Problem Management processes.

- Ensure production changes adhere to Change Management policies.

- Support Resiliency, Disaster Recovery, and High Availability events.

Skills:

Must-have technical skills/experience:

- SRE - Network Engineering & Architecture

- Technical Project management

- Deep Understanding of Networking Protocols

- Experience with automation or application development

- Knowledge of client-server technology and database systems

Flex Skills:

- Incident/problem management experience

- Proficiency in UNIX and Windows operating systems

- Familiarity with web hosting technologies like Apache/Tomcat

- Understanding of Big Data & cloud concepts

- Knowledge of database technologies like Oracle & SQL

Soft skills:

- Excellent communication skills

- Proactive problem-solving abilities

- Strong negotiation skills

- Ability to work independently or in a team environment

Qualifications:

Preferred bachelor's degree in a technical field or relevant work experience; certifications such as CCNP | CCIE | JNCIS | JNCIE are nice to have.
