JOB SUMMARY/ESSENTIAL DUTIES:
Candidates must possess the ability to multi-task, problem solve, learn in a quick fashion, communicates in an effective and clear manner, provides a high level of customer service to clients, vendors, and team members.
Responsible for fulfilling the logistics behind receiving, processing, and storing inventory according to purchases
Ensure shipping schedules are met with attention to detail and ensure timely delivery
Inspect products for defects and damages
Organize warehouse space; keep workspace clean and free of debris
Examine incoming and outgoing shipments
Comply with all company safety regulations
Open to direction, collaborative work style and commitment to get the job done
Team oriented, job may include more duties than what is listed
QUALIFICATIONS:
Minimum high school diploma, GED, or equivalent
1-3 years of warehouse experience
Mechanically inclined, preferred
Forklift Certification and experience a must
Must possess a valid driver’s license that meets companies’ insurability requirements
Ability to lift 75 pounds and climb ladders
PHYSICAL DEMANDS:
The physical demands described are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job. While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly requiring sitting, stand, walk, climb, bend, squat, use hands and fingers, talk, and hear.
