Pavement Maintenance Group (PMG) is the largest franchisee of the SealMaster/Gemseal Brand. PMG is an industry leader in the production and distribution of pavement preservation and maintenance products. We are seeking employees who possess an entrepreneurial attitude and possess the leadership that can support the initiatives and goals of the organization to continue with their growth.
JOB SUMMARY/ESSENTIAL DUTIES:
Represent the company with the highest principles and positive attitude
Develops a thorough knowledge of company material and equipment offerings and can provide information to support others within the organization as well as customers
Oversee local and regional sales, promotions, and campaigns
Visit client sites; build, nurture & maintain customer relationships for long term success
Sell through distribution, contractors direct & governmental bidding
Open, run and close Jacksonville store one day weekly, and as needed to support team members time off
Work closely with sales and operational teams to drive growth/sales
Preferred knowledge of DOT, ASTM, AASHTO regulations to better serve the customer’s needs
Negotiating experience, a plus
Set-up and assist with trade shows
Travel up to 60% within the region
QUALIFICATIONS:
Minimum 3-5 years of progressive sales experience
Comfortable driving daily
Committed to working safely and following all policies and procedures
Excellent organizational skills, time management, prioritization, problem solving and multitasking skills
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Can do attitude, create win win situations for our customer and teams
Proficient use of computer applications and email communication, Microsoft office suite
Must possess a valid driver’s license and have a good driving record
Paving/Maintenance experience preferred, but not necessary
Proven ability to work in an independent atmosphere
Proven ability to grow and manage client relationships
Eagerness to learn, grow, and succeed
Team oriented; job may include more duties than what is listed
