Our Internship Program:

• Dates: June 3rd-August 2nd (9 weeks; 300 hours)
• Pay Rate: $16.00/hour.
• Schedule: Monday -Thursday: 9:30a-5p; Friday: 9:30a-2p (includes 30-minute unpaid lunch)
• 3 Field Trips
• 1 Key Project
• Weekly “Coffee Breaks” with Dr. James (Director | Learning Development, and Coordinator | Internship Program)
• Summer Internship BBQ hosted by PM Hotel Group Chairman of the Board!

This amazing and one-of-a-kind, hands-on opportunity is available to any undergraduate, junior or senior college student, or graduate student in the Hospitality major.

You will be selected based on your demonstrated desire and commitment to the hospitality industry and/or discipline of choice, academic and extracurricular achievement, community participation, and an overall match for the company.

The intern will be required to meet regularly with their department head and will be required to complete the departmental training checklist before completing the internship. This position will also participate in all required meetings and training conducted in the hotel and the specific department in which they are working at the time.

 The Intern can gain in-depth knowledge and first-hand practical experience in many aspects of hotel operations. This opportunity will provide exposure to multiple departments while developing relationships with leaders and associates across the organization.

Your Key Project for the Summer:

The Summer 2024 Commercial Strategies Intern will be focused on:

1. Commercial Sales Pipeline
2. Sales Strategy Innovations
3. Business Relationship Building Partnerships

The overall goal of these projects is to work on initiatives that will directly support PM Hotel Group with sales strategies and commercial expansion. This internship is highly hands-on and allows the interns to see the inner workings of our hotels.

WHAT ARE WE LOOKING FOR?

• Enrolled in a Hospitality program, open to any junior or senior college student!
• GPA of 3.0 or higher
• Hands-on experience in the hospitality field preferred (either through an internship or work experience)
• Superior communication and interpersonal skills
• Must be service-minded and have a can-do attitude.
