Supports the Chief Engineer as well as the Area Director of Engineering with managing the sites critical mechanical systems, Building automation system, Life safety systems and equipment, and our work order process. The Engineering Supervisor is responsible for the day-to-day support and supervision of the engineering team.

Specific Duties:

• The Engineering Supervisor will lead the property preventive maintenance program.
• Assist with ordering needed engineering supplies and materials.
• Will act as the Engineering manager on duty in the absence of the Chief and Director
• Conducts walk-throughs and inspections to ensure guest rooms, public area and heart of the house areas are well maintained and preventative maintenance processes are correctly being executed.
• Will manage weekend and night-time engineering shifts.

• Provide emergency support to engineering staff and facilities when needed.
• Supervises building automation systems and identify any potential problems.

• Performs special projects as assigned by the Chief or Director
• Attend Engineering management meetings.
• Will maintain the engineering shop.
• Will complete any additional task as requested by management.

Abilities Required

• Self-starting personality with an even disposition. Always maintain a professional appearance and manner. Can communicate well with guests. Must be willing to “pitch-in” and help co- workers with their job duties and be a team player. Climbing, reading, standing, walking, and routinely lifting 25 lbs. to 50 lbs. Must be able to receive instructions and communicate progress of work assignments.
