Plump Engineering, Inc. is Hiring a MEP Project Manager Near Anaheim, CA
As an MEP Project Manager at Plump Engineering, you will be responsible for overseeing and managing all aspects of MEP projects from initiation to completion. You will work closely with clients, project teams, subcontractors, and stakeholders to ensure that MEP systems are designed, installed, and commissioned according to technical specifications, budget constraints, and schedule deadlines.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Leading the planning, coordination, and execution of MEP projects, including HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and fire protection systems.
- Collaborating with clients, architects, engineers, and subcontractors to define project scope, goals, and deliverables.
- Developing and managing project budgets, schedules, and resources to meet project objectives and client expectations.
- Conducting regular project meetings, progress reviews, and status updates with internal teams and external stakeholders.
- Monitoring project progress, risks, and issues, and implementing corrective actions as needed to ensure project success.
- Reviewing MEP design drawings, specifications, and technical documentation for accuracy, compliance, and quality assurance.
- Ensuring that MEP systems are installed, tested, and commissioned according to design standards, codes, and regulations.
- Providing leadership, mentorship, and support to project teams, including MEP engineers, designers, and technicians.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or related field. Professional certification or project management certification (PMP) is a plus.
- Proven experience as an MEP Project Manager or similar role in the construction or engineering industry.
- Strong knowledge of MEP systems, building codes, standards, and regulations (ASHRAE, NFPA, NEC, etc.).
- Experience with MEP design software, project management tools, and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Excellent communication, leadership, and team management skills.
- Ability to multitask, prioritize tasks, and work effectively under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong problem-solving, decision-making, and conflict resolution abilities.
