PLUMAS PINES GOLF RESORT & LONGBOARDS RESTAURANT is Hiring a Beverage Manager Near Graeagle, CA

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Beverage Manager to oversee all aspects of our beverage program and ensure its successful implementation. As a Beverage Manager, you will be responsible for creating, implementing, and managing all beverage-related operations, including inventory management, staff training, menu development, and exceptional customer service.

Responsibilities:

- Develop and implement a comprehensive beverage program that aligns with the overall goals and objectives of the company
- Oversee the purchasing, inventory, and cost control of all beverages, including non-alcoholic and alcoholic beverages
- Collaborate with suppliers and distributors to ensure the highest quality and timely delivery of products while negotiating favorable pricing and contracts
- Create and maintain detailed beverage menus that cater to diverse preferences, incorporating trending and innovative offerings
- Train and educate staff on beverage knowledge, service standards, and responsible alcohol service
- Monitor and analyze sales trends, guest feedback, and industry developments to identify opportunities for improvement and growth
- Conduct regular inspections of storage areas, equipment, and supplies to ensure compliance with health and safety regulations
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure proper pairing of beverages with food offerings on menus
- Oversee the development and execution of promotional events and initiatives to increase sales and customer engagement
- Stay updated with industry trends, emerging technologies, and new product introductions to remain competitive in the market
- Monitor financial performance and prepare reports and budgets for senior management
- Resolve customer complaints or concerns promptly and professionally
- Perform any other related duties as assigned by the management

Requirements:

- Proven work experience as a Beverage Manager or in a similar role
- In-depth knowledge of various alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages, including wine, spirits, beers, cocktails, coffee, tea, and soft drinks
- Strong understanding of industry trends, customer preferences, and emerging products
- Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills
- Exceptional customer service skills with a focus on creating an enjoyable and memorable experience for guests
- Ability to manage a diverse team and develop their skills through training and coaching
- Strong organizational and time management skills with the ability to prioritize multiple tasks
- Analytical and problem-solving abilities with a keen attention to detail
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and point of sale systems
- Knowledge of relevant health and safety regulations

Education and Certifications:

- High school diploma or equivalent
- Bachelor's degree in Hospitality Management, Culinary Arts, or a related field (preferred)
- Certification in alcohol service or mixology (preferred)
