Medical Assistant / Medical Scribe
We are looking for an enthusiastic, energetic, positive Medical Assistant with Scribe experience to join our team. The candidate is a vital member of our clinical team who not only assists physicians with exams but also operates their EMR system.
Job Responsibilities:
Prepares medical record documentation/charts for physician(s).
Enters the patient room with the physician during patient visits to assist and transcribe medical record documentation utilizing electronic medical record applications.
Assist physician as needed with procedures and exams
Updates patient history, physical exam, and other pertinent health information in the patient' chart.
Prepares all documentation for physicians to review and approve.
Review lab results and screening tests results.
Complies medical facility policies, including those relating to HIPAA.
Performs other clerical duties and tasks to improve provider productivity and clinic workflow as assigned.
Additional Job Responsibilities may include:
Send prescriptions
Return patient calls
Write orders for labs, surgeries, and imaging as needed
Work with other office departments as needed

Education, Experience, and Licensing Requirements:
Medical Assisting certification
Bachelor’s degree with nursing career track preferred
Knowledge of medical terminology and human anatomy a plus
Skilled in operating various medical record software
