Job Summary:
We are seeking a motivated Sales Representative to join our team. As a Sales Representative for Plaspros, you will be responsible for generating leads, qualifying prospects, and closing sales deals over the phone and in person. This is a great opportunity for someone with a passion for sales and customer service to contribute to our company's growth.
Our Sales Representative is a member of Plaspros’ core professional team working to enhance client experience and develop new customers with integrity, knowledge and professionalism. The Sales Representative will work on-site; however, travel is expected to meet with current and prospective customers. As a family-owned business since 1967, Plaspros approaches business with excellence, honesty, and environmental consciousness
Responsibilities:
* Maintain excellent relationships with customers.
* Proactively identify and develop new clients.
* Network with house accounts to develop new opportunities.
* Interact with customers regularly to detect potential issues by responding quickly to customer questions with strong problem-solving skills.
* Utilize IQMS (MRP system) for maintaining communications and complaints with customer.
* Build strong relationships with coworkers to enhance customer experience.
* Review and present: pricing for tooling, piece part pricing, and contracts with customers.
* Manage projects to meet deadlines and set appropriate internal and external expectations.
* Continuous learning of the injection molding business, and technology opportunities.
* Provide leadership for an environment of continuous improvement under ISO-9002.
* Ensure company policies and performances meet the needs of Plaspros’ customers.
* Attend daily meetings for customer updates.
Skills:
- Proven sales experience in plastics/injection molding preferred
- Strong negotiation skills and ability to close deals
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
- Familiarity with telemarketing techniques and best practices
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to think on your feet
- Self-motivated with a results-driven mindset
- MRP system knowledge
- Proven experience in lead generating
- Computer and social media platform compentency
- Strong project management
- Strong presentation skills; creating presentations in Power Point, Canva, etc.
