Reports to: Operations Manager
Job Summary:
As an Operations Lead at Planet Playskool & NERF Action Xperience, you will lead a team of front-line team members, ensuring the efficient and smooth operation of daily activities. Your role will involve overseeing and coordinating tasks, providing guidance and support to team members, and implementing strategies to optimize processes.
Responsibilities include but not limited to:
• Team Leadership:
- Supervise and lead a team of front-line team members.
- Provide guidance, support, and mentorship to team members.
- Foster a positive and collaborative team culture.
• Operational Oversight:
- Monitor and optimize daily operations to ensure efficiency and productivity.
- Implement and enforce operational policies and procedures.
- Identify areas for improvement and recommend innovative solutions.
• Performance Management:
- Conduct regular performance evaluations for team members.
- Provide constructive feedback and implement performance improvement plans as needed.
- Recognize and reward outstanding performance.
• Training and Development:
- Facilitate training sessions for new and existing team members.
- Identify training needs and coordinate professional development opportunities.
- Ensure team members are well-equipped with the necessary skills and knowledge.
• Communication:
- Maintain open and transparent communication channels within the team.
- Collaborate with other departments to streamline communication and enhance cross- functional cooperation.
• Problem Solving:
- Address and resolve operational challenges promptly.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to troubleshoot and implement effective solutions.
• Safety and Compliance:
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations and company policies.
- Implement and enforce safety protocols to maintain a secure work environment.
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in a front-line team member role.
- Proven leadership experience, with a track record of successfully leading and developing teams.
- 1 to 2 years prior experience in a Lead/Supervisor role.
- Strong organizational and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
- Familiarity with amusement/attractions operations is a plus.
- Ability to adapt to a fast-paced and dynamic work environment.
- Flexibility to work nights, weekends, and holidays as the business dictates.
