Placentia-Yorba Linda Unified School District is Hiring a Special Education Assistant Near Placentia, CA

On April 11, from 12 to 4 pm, the district will host a hiring fair to employ qualified applicants. The location is the District Office at 1301 E. Orangethorpe Avenue, Placentia, CA 92870. Walk-ins are welcome. Please call the Human Resources Department at (714) 985-8415 or (714) 985-8405 for inquiries and application assistance regarding assistant positions.

Requirements / Qualifications
Incomplete applications will not be considered. At least two references must be provided on your application. If selected, interviews will be held virtually.
- Copy of Transcript (Degree or unofficial copy of transcript showing a minimum of completing 48 college units. If you have neither, please take our Instructional Aide Test (ESSA) prior to submitting your application. Please contact Human Resources at 714-985-8410.)
- Resume (Current resume to include some experience in working with students with disabilities. )
Salary
SPED Assistant: $21.83 per hour (Range 22); SPED Intervention Assistant: $22.95 per hour (Range 24); SPED Intervention Assistant Specialized: $24.13 per hour (Range 26)
Length of Work Year
9.5 months per year, 5 days per week, 3.5 hours per day or 3.75 hours per day. VARIABLE SHIFT HOURS BETWEEN: 7:30 a.m. - 1:00 p.m.; 11:00 a.m. - 3:30 p.m.; 12:00 p.m. - 4:30 p.m.
