As a dynamic and growing company, we are seeking a talented Project Manager to join our Installation Department and play a key role in overseeing remodel projects of various scales.
Position Overview: We are looking for a dedicated Project Manager to join our team and lead installations from inception to completion. The ideal candidate will have experience and a deep understanding of both commercial and residential construction projects. They should be familiar with single surface installations such as carpet, vinyl, and wood, as well as managing large-scale projects that involve coordinating with various tradespeople including electricians, plumbers, and carpenters.
Key Responsibilities:
- Collaborate closely with the sales team to understand project requirements and client expectations.
- Coordinate with installers and subcontractors to ensure projects are completed on time and within budget.
- Oversee the entire installation process, from planning and scheduling to execution and final walkthroughs.
- Conduct site visits and inspections to ensure quality standards are met and address any issues that arise.
- Communicate effectively with clients, addressing any concerns and providing regular updates on project progress.
- Manage project documentation, including contracts, permits, and compliance requirements.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience in project management within the construction industry, preferably in remodeling, flooring or related fields.
- Strong understanding of commercial and residential construction processes and materials.
- Excellent organizational and communication skills, with the ability to lead and motivate teams.
- Proficiency in project management software and Microsoft Office suite.
- Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment.
- Fluency in both Spanish and English, both written and verbal, to effectively communicate with a diverse team and clientele. *Preferred*
