Restoration Consulting Group is Hiring an Assistant Project Manager/ Commercial Construction Near Garland, TX

Overview:
We are seeking a highly motivated and organized individual to join our team as an Assistant Project Manager for our commercial construction projects. The Assistant Project Manager will work closely with the Project Manager and other team members to ensure the successful planning, execution, and completion of construction projects. This role requires strong communication skills, attention to detail, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities:

  • Project Planning:
  • Assist in developing project plans, timelines, and budgets.
  • Coordinate with architects, engineers, and subcontractors to ensure project requirements are understood and met.
  • Assist in obtaining necessary permits and approvals.
  • Project Execution:
  • Oversee day-to-day activities on construction sites, ensuring adherence to project plans and safety protocols.
  • Monitor progress and address any issues or delays promptly.
  • Coordinate material deliveries and equipment rentals as needed.
  • Assist in resolving conflicts or disputes that may arise during construction.
  • Communication and Coordination:
  • Serve as a point of contact for subcontractors, vendors, and other stakeholders.
  • Facilitate regular meetings with project team members to review progress and address concerns.
  • Keep stakeholders informed about project status, milestones, and any changes in plans.
  • Quality Control:
  • Conduct regular inspections to ensure workmanship meets quality standards.
  • Identify and address any deficiencies or deviations from project specifications.
  • Work with the project team to implement corrective actions as needed.
  • Documentation and Reporting:
  • Maintain accurate project documentation, including contracts, change orders, and RFIs.
  • Prepare regular progress reports for management and clients.
  • Assist in preparing project close-out documents and conducting post-project evaluations.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in construction management, engineering, or a related field (preferred).
  • Proven experience in commercial construction or related field.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
  • Proficiency in project management software and MS Office suite.
  • Knowledge of construction methods, materials, and building codes.
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment and independently.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $54,982.18 - $66,215.10 per year
