Job Title: Travel Superintendent - Commercial Construction

Overview:
We are seeking a highly experienced and motivated individual to join our team as a Travel Superintendent in the field of commercial construction. The ideal candidate will have extensive knowledge and hands-on experience in overseeing and managing construction projects across various locations throughout the United States. This position requires frequent travel and the ability to adapt to different project sites and teams.

Responsibilities:

  • Project Management: Manage all aspects of commercial construction projects, including scheduling, quality control, and safety compliance.
  • Site Supervision: Oversee on-site construction activities, ensuring work is completed according to project plans, specifications, and timelines.
  • Team Leadership: Provide leadership and guidance to project teams, subcontractors, and vendors to ensure project objectives are met.
  • Travel Coordination: Coordinate travel logistics to project sites, including transportation, accommodation, and scheduling.
  • Communication: Maintain regular communication with project stakeholders, including clients, architects, engineers, and internal team members.
  • Problem-solving: Identify and resolve project issues and conflicts in a timely and effective manner to keep projects on track.
  • Quality Assurance: Implement quality assurance processes to ensure workmanship and materials meet project standards and specifications.
  • Safety Compliance: Enforce safety policies and procedures to maintain a safe working environment for all personnel on-site.
  • Documentation: Maintain accurate project documentation, including daily reports, progress photos, and change orders.
  • Budget Management: Monitor project budgets and expenses, making adjustments as necessary to ensure projects remain within budgetary constraints.

Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in commercial construction.
  • Proven track record of successfully managing multiple construction projects simultaneously.
  • Strong leadership and communication skills.
  • Ability to travel extensively and work independently.
  • Knowledge of construction industry regulations and best practices.
  • Proficiency in project management software and Microsoft Office suite.
