Pivot Clear is an innovative solution focused on mindful drinking, elevating preventive, well-being support. With a focus on establishing a healthier relationship with alcohol, Pivoters are provided with the support they are looking for, while corporations benefit from a boost of productivity and a reduction in on-the-job risk.

With the guidance of a dedicated coach and comprehensive educational resources, Pivoters evaluate their relationship with alcohol and create a personalized reduction or elimination strategy that meets their goals. By combining technology, coaching, and educational resources to help members achieve a healthier relationship with alcohol. Pivot is looking for a part time, temporary Trainer (approximately 10-15 hours per week for four months) to co-develop our learning and development offerings for our Pivot Clear Product, including - onboarding training, quality assurance and coaching specific content areas. 

We’re looking for an individual who is a creative and highly empathetic ‘people’ person to co-develop the glue behind our coaches' learning efforts. This individual has a passion for helping others improve their health and wellbeing as it relates to reduction or elimination of alcohol consumption.

Essential Functions/What you’ll be doing

• Partner with the coaching leadership team to develop multi-format internal training material for our health coaches to work with Pivoter’s goal as it relates to alcohol consumption.
• Facilitate weekly virtual training for continued improvement and education in evidence based practice to improve behavioral practices around alcohol. 
• Peer mentor coaching staff to identify gaps in training, quality assurance & support ongoing communication with Pivoters. 
• Work with the Director of the Coaching & Behavioral team to lead weekly performance updates to market, product & client success. 
• Assist the leadership team in quality assessment, inclusive of spot checking coaching conversations & providing direct feedback for improvements. 
• Participate in the Coaching team meetings to support the development of Pivoters’ journey as well as internal operations of the coaching team.
• Co-assist in app content creation as needed for the Pivot Clear app. 

Competencies/Qualifications/Experience/Education

• Bachelor’s degree or higher (preferred) in a health or behavior-related field required.
• Minimum 3 years of clinical experience delivering CBT and/or behavioral support for individuals looking to mindfully reduce their alcohol intake, quit drinking or remain sober. 
• Previous experience creating multi-format training materials and virtual workshops including new hire, refresher and continued education. 
• Previous experience leading individual and group peer coaching sessions to improve quality and content adherence. 
• Prior experience with Learning Management, Customer Relations or Electronic Medical Record software is a plus.
• Proficient with evidence-based practices such as MI, ACT, CBT, TTM and other behavioral coaching modalities. 
• Technologically proficient and able to swiftly adapt to technological developments. 
• Independent, creative self-starter, flexible, comfortable with ambiguity, and thrives in a fast-paced work environment that encourages critical thinking and creative problem solving.
• Licensed Therapist or Alcohol Counselor holding an active credential:
  • AADC, CAADC, CADAC, CADC-II, CADC-I, ADC, CS, LADC, LCADC, CADC MAC, NCAC-I, NCAC-II
  • Hold a relevant credential that is recognized by a national credentialing body– either the International Certification and Reciprocity Consortium (IC&RC) and/or the Association for Addiction Professionals (NAADAC)
• Relevant degree such as a MPH, MD, PhD or PsyD with experience & knowledge in the study of alcohol use disorders.

Range for this position is $30-$45 per hour.
