JOB TITLE: Operations Manager (Enforce Administration)
DEPARTMENT: Enforcement/RPP/Ticket by Mail
REPORTS TO: Director of On Street and Metered Parking
POSITION SUMMARY:
Position responsible for performing a variety of administrative and management supportive functions and all related duties which include but not limited to: dealing with personnel issues, work scheduling, time sheets, payroll, route area coverage assignments, radio dispatch, vehicle allocation, typing, hand held computer usage, down loading and maintenance of files. Oversees the Residential Parking Permit (RPP) office staff and functions therein. Oversees the Ticket by Mail program and staff. The Manager generates reports and reviews ticket matters. Must meet timeframes and deadlines on all assignments as directed. This position manages/supervises others.
MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES:
REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, ABILITIES:
EDUCATION AND WORK EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS:
Bachelor's Degree preferred with at least five (5) years of relevant work experience. Three (3) years of supervisory/ managerial experience preferred.. Must have a proficient with Microsoft office.
BACKGROUND CHECK:
Successful completion of a motor vehicle report and background check is required.
SPECIAL CERTIFICATES and LICENSES:
Must possess and maintain a current and valid Class C (or Class 1) Pennsylvania Motor Vehicle Operator's License throughout employment.
OTHER:
Must show proof and maintain City of Pittsburgh residency.
